In the modern digital age there seem to be localised zombie movies popping up all over the world, and this particular offering comes from Malaysia. Sadly as an indie it’s not much cop at all, taking a humorous look at the material but feeling very localised as a result. The diverse narrative follows three plot strands centring on various characters surviving during the zombie apocalypse. Most of it is filmed in a single office and apartment. The zombie actors are rubbish, the human actors even worse, as they seem to think that acting consists of mugging and flamboyancy. There’s very little to get excited about here.

I didn’t realize that Malaysia was so culturally diverse and the multiple wives angle is a REAL turn off, but set that aside and this movie isn’t all that bad.I loved the sometimes English and sometimes other languages mixed in…was kind of cool. The zombies were pretty good and this movie had some funny moments.Just prepare yourself for a situation or two that most of us aren’t accustomed to and find reprehensible, get past that and just enjoy the movie for what it is…not a half bad zombie film.
